Nutrition for diabetes is a major component in management and prevention. I absolutely enjoy working with clients to guide them towards managing their glucose and preventing future medical complications.I offer individual nutrition counseling sessions for adults looking to manage their blood sugars or who are newly diagnosed with diabetes (gestational or type 2 diabetes) and pre-diabetics. Managing blood sugar is not always easy for some and everyone is different when it comes to their diabetes management. I work with your lifestyle to help you create realistic goals. Weight management can help improve blood sugar levels. Consider signing up for my weight loss tips sent bi-weekly to your email. You can sign up on the pop-up welcome window. I also have a Facebook weight management support group.
If you rely on accountability to lose weight or manage your blood sugar, a new service I am offering is photo food journaling through the MealLogger phone app. Clients can take a picture of their meal up to three times per week to receive feedback from me on how it can be improved or see if they are on the right track towards their goals in between sessions. This includes two 15-minute follow-up phone calls per month to discuss your progress. Ask me about this service at your next appointment.
